I’m a day late to this and given the nature of it, most of the people that read this site are likely to already have seen it, but I’ll give it a mention for posterity.
Crisp purveyor Pringles has released a trial run of scented candles – coming in three flavours: Pigs in Blankets, Cheesy Cheese and Texas BBQ this festive season.
It follows a well-worn in PR tactic of reimaging foodstuff scents – or alleging to reimagine foodstuff scents – you wouldn’t expect as candles (KFC did it in 2013 and Pieminster announced a range of pie-scented candles for April Fools’ Day this year for starters).
As with all of these things, they’re not *really* a thing beyond the minimum viable design/run needed to become something you’ll share online, although the Metro was given one of each flavour to giveaway. Try your luck using the link below.
