Along with childbirth, a kick in the crown jewels and your favourite character being killed off the TV series you invested so much time in (nice one Game of Thrones), standing on a LEGO brick is considered one of the most painful things you can experience in modern life.
LEGO themselves have acknowledged this by teaming up with a French branding company to create LEGO slippers with an extra spongey sole designed to protect a parents feet when they venture into the minefield that is their child’s bedroom at night.
It’s a really fun branding idea in the run up to christmas and the public seem to have really embraced the idea.
